N.E.R.C.A.R. OVAL RACING NEWS
Welcome to N.E.R.C.A.R.
The intent of this organization is to promote affordable R/C car racing with Spec. type rules for more close action racing.
The chassis we're using are Electric 4wd shaft or belt drive touring cars. These chassis have proven to be affective in oval racing for a lot of door to door action. N.E.R.C.A.R. was actually started overseas with a group stationed in Iraq. running Tamiya TT-01 chassis 540 motors and 3000mah Nimh packs. which proved to create some close action racing.
Of course some of the rules have changed to allow all types of touring car chassis in, but there will be a motor rule and a battery rule in place to try and help keep the cost down, and tires will be kept at street tread or slicks. (no foam tires here)
The track is a small oval located in Belmont NH. This is a parking lot track with plenty of parking and pit space.

The track is set up and ready to go. you may practice at anytime at your own risk. Racing will be on sat. in the morning. Divisions are as follows. Late model, modified, Nastrucks, and sliders See rules in the forum and on this page for modifieds. The track is located on Dearborn st. in Belmont NH at the Lakes Region Manurfacturing, In the front parking lot. We look forward to seeing anyone interested in racing. We will also be selling some new and used R/C Late model race cars. used start at $70.00 RTR and new will start at $125.00 RTR. I will take orders and money for new late model R/C cars.

The track is cleaned off and the walls will go up shortly.
There are some changes in the divisions. The Late Models are now running a closed end bell 540 motors only. The following motors are acceptable. Traxxas 20 turn Stinger motor, HPI 20 turn Saturn motor, as well as any 540 closed end bell motor. we will allow 6 cell 3000 nimh packs as the highest pack you can go. Also we will start running 1/18 Losi Late Models stock as well as the Losi Mini Sliders stock. and 1/10 modifieds. with a open motor rule. But remember more power will not make you do any better.

Due to still having snow on the ground. The R/C racing schedule for Saturdays will get pushed back. A new schedule will be up shortly. Also some bad news on the slotcar side BELLROCK SPEEDWAY will be coming down due to business expansion where its located. so any slotcar series will not happen for this year. sorry.

The schedule for the 2008 season will change from sun to sat due to paintball. All dates will also be affected by the rate of snow melting away If we start later in the spring.

Happy New Year
Sorry this site hasn't been updated for a little bit but been very busy between work and the Paintball site and getting things ready for some short track door to door racing action with the R/C cars has been time consuming. The Slotcar series is on hold for right now having Issues again with tracks location and resetting up the small track in its new location.I'll keep you posted.
